Our approach is eclectic, drawing from several different therapeutic healing modalities. We will tailor the work depending on the individual, couple, or family trying to meet their unique needs, life experience, and situation.
We ask clients to set concrete goals so that we may use those as a benchmark for whether or not the therapy is progressing. We will assess progress together on a periodic basis to determine if the course of therapy is correct or needs adjusting.

We are proponents of self help (bibliotherapy) and other methods of self care and can refer clients to some other avenues. Our goal for clients is that they will learn about the healing qualities within themselves so that they may find joy and contribute love and positive energy to the people and activities in their lives. - Heart Centered Hypnotherapy: An eclectic approach that uses the bellow mentioned techniques in conjunction with a light trance state so that clients may 1: become aware of what is keeping them stuck more quickly, 2: clear out past incidents and belief systems that contribute to being stuck, 3:implant healing and positive suggestions into the client's unconscious mind. - Systems approach: Considering family and relationship dynamics, family history, and other systems or communities involved in clients’ lives
- Adlerian: An educational approach that says people are doing the best they can with the information and experience they already have. This approach adds “techniques to your bag of tricks” for improving the dilemmas of freedom and authority, discipline, and improving relationships. An important school for improving parenting techniques and parent-child relationships
- Cognitive behavioral: Understanding and retraining our “thinking brain” to positively effect emotions, feelings, and behaviors
- Jungian: Examining the unconscious relationships or drives behind what we do. Also using dream work, sand tray, art or play, to find answers in our own unconscious. Finding our connection to the universe and humankind as a whole
- Narrative therapies: Telling our stories and learning to re-work these for positive outcomes
- Gestalt: using what is happening in the moment to deepen experience
- Transpersonal Psychology: Using non-ordinary states of consciousness to access healing potential deep within the client's psyche.
- The Feldenkrais Method®: hands on somatic body-work and classes to help clients develop a deep connection with their body for the purpose of healing, improving physical function, and overall wellbeing.
- Imago: We employ techniques, homework, and theories from Imago Relationship Therapy and other marriage counseling models when providing marriage or couples therapy.
